Founded in 2013 by Henry Swanzy, a furniture designer-craftsman with over 20 years’ experience, Henry Swanzy Ltd produces simple and elegant contemporary furniture designed and hand-crafted in Britain.
Influences include the pared back simplicity of Danish 20th Century design, the Japanese Wabi-sabi aesthetic and the strong principles of the Arts and Crafts movement. The furniture is modern and seductively pure -each piece accentuates the artistry, precision and skill of the expert craftsmen, blended in a crisp and contemporary context.
